From the name of the Severn, a river in Wales, which was originally named Habren. In Celtic legend Sabrina was the name of a princess who was drowned in the Severn. Supposedly the river was named for her, but it is more likely that her name was actually derived from that of the river.

Jake & I went to the Saint Paul Police Department to be fingerprinted as part of our background check for the homestudy. We discovered that he has arched prints and I have whorl.

Last night two good friends of ours got married in a beautiful ceremony at the Mill City Museum. In addition to great food and dancing, we got to see many old friends from Luther who have moved away. Tone & Kendra cam from South Dakota, Ross y Yesica from Peru, Brad & Sarah from Wisconsin, Ben & Erica from Arizona and Bill from Oregon. It was a fantastic night!
